Languidly the lizard lingers
on my electric blue wall
subtly organizing his cosmic
order to make a perfect capture
through a moment of rapture.
Descending from the fall
the soft striations of his
muscles bear the burden of
evolutionary memories from
dinosaurs and dragonflies~
strange unnamed gestalts of
cognition ossify within
his frail structure
as he grows tinier
through transmigration.
At the apex of evolution
when the Maitreya arrives,
infinitesimal lizards would
wander on the earth, wearing
his ageless messages, soaked,
in the boundless history
of the cosmoses ~
